I am flying into New Delhi for one night, and then have to catch a plane elsewhere in India the next morning. What affordable hotels are close to the airport? I don’t want to spend a lot of money, but I also don’t want to have to drive very far from the airport, since I have to be back bright and early the next morning.

The hotel can be close to either the international or domestic terminal, since I’m flying in international but going domestic the next day.

You can stay at any excellent hotel at Mahipalpur….it will be 15-20 minutes drive from the domestic airport. you can search for websites of the hotels located at mahipalpur and choose…

I remember of staying at a hotel in Mahipalpur area(10-15m drive from both the terminals) last year. I don’t remember the name though .It was about Rs. 1500 for an A/C type room just for a night.They would quote some high price if you show up with a lot of luggage.Don’t forget to bargain.

You can get a prepaid taxi at the airport counter and question the taxi driver to take some hotel.

as a girl – dont comprimse too much on cost as safety could be an issue. radisson near the airport would be around 60-70$ – stay there
