Taking a Volunteer Vacation

Have you ever dreamed about a life of travel and luxurious vacations, then this may be a dream come right for you.

In the following articles, I am going to let you in on one of the travel industry’s secrets.

Even if you are already in the travel business, I will show you how you can set yourself free from those office chains, and double or triple your current income, and start traveling.

You are in full control with this system. You get to make all the decisions. You get to go where you want to go, and you get to go when you want to go! And you will get to do what you want to do when you get there! Better yet, you will get to share all of this with people that will become life long friends.

Let me take care of a few questions right off the bat. This is not about being a traditional travel agent. Fact is that most travel agents cannot afford to do much traveling, and many simply cannot afford to take time off or time away from their jobs or businesses. If you are in that same spot, I am going to show you how to change all that and start making more money and having more fun than you can possibly imagine.

This also isn’t about being a tour guide. I will introduce you to a business model that will have you wondering why it hasn’t happened to you sooner.

You can do this part time or full time. It doesn’t matter. Some folks do this just to get a couple of vacations per year. Others do it as a full time business, and some even make incredible six figure incomes. There are people who have taken this business model to the extreme and now have a travel business that is worth millions of dollars.

It doesn’t matter if you have any experience or not. You do not need any prior travel or internet experience. If you dream about or like to take vacations and travel, and are willing to share that like with other people, then you are qualified to do this.

This is about owning your own Internet Travel Store. That’s right! Just like Expedia, Orbitz and Travelocity. But for a lot–lot less! Billions and Millions less! With a Ton of Benefits

The following is what was learned and gives the reasons why this will work and is working right now for many travelers like you and me.

Expedia was sold a couple of years ago for $5.1 billion dollars. That’s Billion not million.

Somebody must believe that people will buy their travel on the internet.

hi what a clean thought! I have heard of habitat for humanity type international vacations before but not orphanage vacations. I volunteer in Korea though not as a vacation :-) It is not very cheap to glide or live here. But I reckon you could find a fantastic deal if you advertised in advance of wanting to rent a room in a local persons home i know that is often done by the students that come here to teach for a year the orphanages are fantastic here they try to place as many kids as possible in foster care but there are still many many in orphanages, I know there is a place in Gumi Korea that one of the Fulbright teachers stayed at for a month. I will look again for her website and get back to you. you can also check out the websites below the first one is a volunteer group and they might be able to set you up with temporary accommodations. English is spoken here but for the most part don't expect a daily fluent conversation in English outside of the capitol (not to place you off just to prepare you) I hope it works out for you

You can find volunteering opportunities with various WWF (World Wildlife Fund) offices around the world as well as helpful links to other organizations that require volunteers on our volunteer web page. http://www.panda.org/how_you_can_help/volunteer/index.cfm

World Wildlife Fund has been a reputable international organization for MANY years. I have been a member, off and on for 30 years. The Nature Conservancy is also of the same caliber, but doesn't have as many international opportunities. Becoming a member for both of these has given us access to several tours/trips/opportunities over the years. Even though we have stayed in the states due to cost, the organizations have access to 1 to 12 week opportunities worldwide.

If you want to join a French group, you should probably know or learn some french.

How about going to India? There are a lot of animals that need help there. I would say Pakistan because I have been there, but I really don't reckon you'd want to go there. Another option would be to go to somewhere in South America. There are animals that have been displaced by the destruction of rainforest that could really use help. Also check with your local Zoo. I'm in Milwaukee, WI and our Zoo helps to house and rehabilitate animals from various parts of the world so that they may be set free. There are many funds and such that they have set up for those who visit the Zoo to donate to as well. I am very pleased that you are being so caring and willing to travel to do so. And it's fantastic that your mother is understanding too. So many young people these days want to go partying and are thinking only of themselves especially at Spring Break. You are a rarity. Keep that about yourself. Never lose that. You can do a lot of excellent once you place your mind to it. Excellent luck!

Check out Cross Cultural Solutions. I reckon the shortest trip is one week, and it's sort of expensive, but it sounds like a worth while program.

Nicaragua is cheap and pretty much safe. You get a small less than 18 cordobas (national currency) for 1 dollar. i.e. you can buy about 4-5 medium sized gatorade bottles for 5 dollars. You can visit volcanic parks, natural preserves, zoos, beaches, and lakes for under 6,000 dollars(including airfare)
