That is: PNR<space>your PNR number> to 5676747.  A second simple way is to check PNR on your mobile by sending SMS using the 10 digit mobile number.  This is a service provided by Google and you can check your PNR status by sending your PNR number to 9773300000.  This is better than the previous method because while you send your number by the code 139, your mobile service provider will charge you at the premium rate.  At the same time in latter case, the service does not have such a defect.

Another simple and simple way to check Indian Railways PNR status on your mobile is by using your GPRS enabled phone.  For that you have to enable your phone with a data plot.  Then you can browse through the phone to the Indian railway site and check your PNR status at the “Check PNR” option.  These are the SMS facilities available. There is another simple way by calling the Railways helpline.  This method is said to be not as excellent as the other ways as it is through the Railway helpline.  In this method, you need to call the Railway helpline number 139 and follow the steps as per the Interactive Voice Response system.
