Linkstar UK (linkstar.co.uk) describe themselves as bringing advertisers and publishers together. Basically they handle huge name clients and make it possible for the small guy to earn money by placing a textual advert.
After contacting Linkstar (using the contact form on their website) I read a review of the Linkstar.co.uk Ads over on Pixellemonks blog. It seems like a honest enough assessment and has some links over to other sites reviewing them including a post on digitalpoint.
At the time of writing, Alexa is showing that traffic to the Linkstar site has increased 32% in the last 3 months alone and reaches approximately 85,000 visitors a week… certainly not a small fish that’s for sure!
Apart from purchasing advertising on small blogs, websites and even larger commercial websites they provide web design and development services. So if you’re thinking of launching a new service they could most likely handle everything from the design to the advertising.. an all round winner.
Textual advertising like this is nothing new, there are the huge boys out there like Google Adsense who have been paying webmasters for this kind of advertising for a long time. So it really comes down to preference, do you want to get an upfront payment by Paypal from these newer guys or play the slow and steady game with Goog?
