Really, if you go to Mexico City they speak more proper spanish than they do in Madrid. And the girl’s accent is latin american. In spain they say c like th.

she’s allright, I’m studying spanish intensively for 4 years now, it’s my 3rd language, and it’s right on. Those that say the opposite are either jealous OR try to look smart by putting others down. Better stuff than most stuff here

Sure it is no problem speaking to hotel staff in Mexico etc. but the purpose of this lession is to give information on hotel related spanish and there can be situations in smaller towns where it can help to be able to speak the local language. People always like that.
